  - Under the theme of "Healthy Soils for Healthy Cities," it emphasizes the public and environmental functions of the soil, such as carbon storage, water circulation, and ecosystem maintenance
  - It is an opportunity to spread the importance of soil conservation and the practice of soil protection to future generations and the people through the commendation of persons of distinguished service for soil conservation and the award of outstanding participants in the "Soil and Groundwater Children's Summer Camp."
