[5th Korea-MDB Green Cooperation Forum]
○ Event Purpose: To strengthen cooperation and networking with multilateral development banks (MDBs) and to expand opportunities for domestic environmental companies to participate in MDB green transition projects and secure overseas business contracts

○ Hosted and organized by: Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute
○ Attendees: Nam Gwang-woo, President of the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute; Kim Ji-young, Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment; officials from the World Bank (WB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Central America Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), and African Development Bank (AfDB); and about 130 participants from domestic environmental companies and public institutions
○ Main Contents
- Sharing MDB’s green transition projects and procurement/bid opportunities in the climate, environment, and green energy sectors
- Sharing cases of domestic companies securing overseas business orders through the KEITI-MDB joint technical support project
- Networking between domestic environmental companies and MDBs and identifying new collaborative projects
- President Nam Kwang-woo emphasized the importance of linking MDB’s financial and networking capabilities with the technology and experience of our companies to expand entry into the global green market and create new business opportunities
